Neuseway Planetarium, Health and Science Museum (www.neusewaypark.com/museum.html)
This 4,000 square foot 100 year old building rests on the Neuse River adjacent to the Nature Center.
The 1st floor houses Lenoir Memorial Hospital's Health and Science Museum which includes hands on exhibits, a butterfly garden, a miniature replica of Lenoir Memorial Hospital, computers and a giant bubble machine.
The 2nd floor is the home of the Planetarium which includes a 32 foot dome and projector that will project star patters, constellations and video shows. There is also an observation deck with a mend telescope.
